Nov 16 9:30 am: Healing Hikes: Coping with Grief

Hike the World proudly presents the first in their "Healing Hikes" series, free hikes devoted to mental health issues. This healing hike will be focused on healthy ways of coping with grief. If you have lost someone very close to you and are struggling with grief and depression, this is the hike for you. We are encouraging attendees to share stories throughout the hike and talk directly with the grief counselor, Lisa Athan, who will be leading us in a discussion on coping with grief at one of Storm King Mountain's beautiful viewpoints. We are keeping this group small and intimate so that all hikers feel comfortable sharing with one another.
